Synopsis

This book is based on a study that sought to contribute to filling this gap or intellectual lacunae by exploring the impact of Internal Savings and Lending Schemes (ISALS) on women‟s socio-economic empowerment in Mt Darwin District of Zimbabwe. A qualitative study adopted a phenomenological research design which hinges on the interpretation of everyday ordinary human existence and experiences. This phenomenological research design was guided by African Feminist Theory that advocates for African women‟s empowerment paradigm and the Longwe Framework.
