Pathways to Sustainable Systems, Holism and Deep Entrepreneurialism in the Reengineering of Zimbabwe Development

Halleluah Mangombe-Chirisa holds a PhD awarded by the University of the Free State, South Africa focusing on Climate Extremes and Public health. She has research interest in Climate Change, Vulnerability, Marginality, Public health and Environmental Systems. Her research interests are multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary in nature enabling her to have authored and co-authored several journal articles and book chapters across the mentioned research areas. Has contributed immensely to public health and climate change debates among vulnerable population in poor urban spaces in the Global South. She is the Director of Research and Innovation at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University since 2022

Tinashe Magande is a researcher in the fields of Economics and Urban and Regional planning. His expertise spans quality infrastructure, infrastructural violence, strategic spatial planning, and poverty in Africa, with a strong focus on econometric modelling. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a BSc in Economics from the same institution. Currently, Tinashe is pursuing a PhD at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His research interests include xix Quality infrastructure, infrastructural violence, strategic spatial planning, poverty in Africa, and econometric modelling. His research has taken him to various areas in Zimbabwe and South Africa, where he has engaged in fieldwork on spatial planning, infrastructural violence and basic services infrastructure.

Allen Mutumwa holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from GZU, a BCom in Human Resource Management from RCU, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from CUT, Zimbabwe. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management at Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences

Collen Kajongwe has a PhD in Human Resources Management, MSc in Human Resources Management, MSc in Peace, Leadership and Conflict Resolution, and a BSc in Human Resources Management, all from Zimbabwe. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher and Tertiary Education, a Diploma in Communications and Journalism, and is a Bachelor of Substantive Law student. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management at Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences

Sakarombe Upenyu holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Zimbabwe. He lectures in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Economics at ZEGU.

Oscar Tsvuura holds a PhD in Human Resource Management, MSc in Human Resources Management, BSc in Human Resources, Labour and Industrial Relations, Diploma in Human Resources Management, and xvii Diploma in Local Government Administration, all from Zimbabwe. He also works in Monitoring and Evaluation at Ruwa Local Board.

Rosemary Guvhu (PhD) is a preeminent academic strategist and senior researcher whose career reflects over three decades of transformative leadership within the Zimbabwean education sector. A Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Education and Educational Management from the University of the Free State, South Africa, she currently serves as the Chairperson of the Faculty Research and Innovation Committee and the Coordinator for the Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education (PGDTE) at Midlands State University. Her institutional influence is further solidified through her strategic roles on the University Research Board and the Staff Disciplinary Committee, where she bridges the critical gap between faculty-level innovation and high-level administrative governance. As a primary architect of Education 5.0, Dr. Guvhu‘s scholarship is uniquely situated at the synergy of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Adaptive Leadership, People Analytics, and Inclusive Pedagogy.

Kudakwashe Mutsauri earned a BSc in Business Administration and Management from ZEGU, along with multiple certificates including Fundamentals for Business Expansion (YALI), Managing the Organisation (Coursera, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign), Developing a Winning Marketing Strategy (Coursera, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign), Marketing Management 1 (Coursera, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign), and a Diploma in Human Resources HR (Alison)

Gift Manhimanzi holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Zimbabwe. He lectures in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Economics at ZEGU

Shadreck Nhorito earned a PhD in Accounting, Master‘s in Accounting, MBA, Honours Degree in Accounting, Special Honours in Monitoring and Evaluation, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education, all from MSU. He is a part-time Lecturer at the Centre for Development Studies and MSU.

Priscilla Tshuma earned a BCom in Accounting from ZEGU, a Diploma in Accounting and Business (ACCA), and a Certificate in Tax Preparations and Tax Returns Filing (Natlage Human Capital). She also holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Zimbabwe and lectures in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Economics at ZEGU.

Edson Chagwedera holds a BSc in Economics from Zimbabwe and an MSc in Economics from Zambia. He is Dean of the Faculty of Business Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Artefactural Design and Futures at ZEGU.

Anna Tiki earned her MCom and BCom in Accounting from MSU, and a PhD in Accounting from CUT. She also holds a BCom in Accounting from ZOU, CPA (Zimbabwe), and a Diploma in Voc Tech Education from CUT. She serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting Sciences and Finance at Chinhoyi University of Technology.

Edson Chagwedera holds a BSc in Economics from Zimbabwe and an MSc in Economics from Zambia. He is Dean of the Faculty of Business Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Artefactural Design and Futures at ZEGU..

Moses Nyakuwanika holds a PhD in Accounting from CUT, MCom in Accounting from MSU, BCom in Accounting from ZOU, CPA (Zimbabwe), and a Diploma in Voc Tech Education from CUT. He is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting Sciences and Finance at Chinhoyi University of Technology. He also earned an MSc in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden, and a BSc Hons. in Industrial Relations from GZU, Zimbabwe.

Tafadzwa Jimu holds a Master of Commerce Degree in Forensic Auditing and Accounting (MSU), a Master of Commerce Degree in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance (GZU), an MPhil in Internal Auditing from Africa Research University, an Advanced Diploma in Forensic Auditing and Accounting (SAAA), and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Internal Auditing (ZOU). He has completed a PhD in Accounting and Finance (ZEGU) pending graduation. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting Sciences at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe.

Dorcas Jaricha holds an MSc in Strategic Management from Zimbabwe and an MSc in Transport and Logistics from Germany.

Courage Masona earned a BSc and MSc in Economics from Zimbabwe, along with an Executive Certificate in Project Management, Monitoring xiii and Evaluation. He lectures in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Economics at ZEGU.

Mable Danai Chiripanyanga holds an MSc in Transport and Logistics from Germany, a BSc in Economics, and a BSc Special Honours Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Zimbabwe. She lectures in the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship at ZEGU

Idah Gotore earned an MSc in Supply Chain Management from BUSE, a BCom in Supply Chain Management from ZEGU, and a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management from Harare Polytechnic. She is a former Lecturer in the Faculty of Commerce at ZEGU

Ignetious Banda holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Zimbabwe. He lectures in the Department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Economics at ZEGU.

Kevin Tirivanhu Gwatidzo is a PhD Candidate (Strategic Management) - Zimbabwe Open University, MSc Strategic Management (Great Zimbabwe University), LLB (University of London). His research interests are minerals extraction governance and policy. Political economy, social and environmental impact of extractive activities.

Brighton Taruberekera completed an MSc in International Relations and a BSc in Political Science at UZ, along with a Diploma in Journalism & Communication from CCOSA. He is an Independent Researcher and Policy Analyst, and also an Assistant Lecturer at the Centre for Development Studies College. He has a Certificate in Youth Leadership Training from Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Zimbabwe

Shepherd Gumbo holds a DPhil, MEd, and B.Ed in Educational Sociology from Zimbabwe. He lectures in the Department of Curriculum and Educational Philosophy at ZEGU.

Gerry Mhlanga trained at Seke Teachers College, earning a Diploma in Education with specialization in Early Childhood Education. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Development from GZU. He is Chairperson in the Department of Education at ZEGU.

Aquila Tafadzwa Moyo holds a Bachelor of Laws (Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University). Secretary for Legal Affairs for the Presidential Programme for Professionals (PP4P). Research interests the attribution of liability for Autonomous AI systems, legal technology and customary law.s.

Gabriel Isaac Kandewo is PhD Candidate in Sustainable Development (Chinhoyi University of Technology), MSc Sustainable Livelihoods and Technologies (Chinhoyi University of Technology), BSc (Hons) Peace and Governance (Bindura University of Science Education), Certificate in Development Education (Kimmage University, Ireland). National Programmes Officer – Research, Education & Advocacy/Assistant to National Coordinator at Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace in Zimbabwe (CCJPZ). He has expertise in governance, human rights, peace building, evidence-based research, parliamentary liaison, elections, and project cycle management. Research interests: civic education, constitutionalism, social accountability, advocacy, climatesmart livelihoods, Urban resilience and the intersection of faith and public policy.

Noah Maringe is a holder of LLD (University of South Africa), LLM (University of South Africa), LLB (University of Zimbabwe), DeanFaculty of Law, Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University, Research interests Labour Law, Constitutional Law, Banking Law, Insurance Law.

Judith Machaka holds an LLM Constitutional and Human Rights Law (MSU), Bachelor of Laws Honors Degree (UZ). Lecturer at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University in the Department of Law and Legal Services.
Research interests are in Human and Disability Rights.

Paul Zwenyika Muchena is National Coordinator, CCJPZ under ZCBC. Expert in Justice & Peace, development management, conflict resolution, governance advocacy, and civic/election education. Trainer/facilitator with 15+ years‘ experience. Holds DPhil candidacy ZOU, Masters ZOU, BA UZ, plus diplomas in project management, M&E, and migration

Innocent Chirisa holds a DPhil in Social Sciences from the University of Zimbabwe and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Free State, South Africa. Prof Chirisa is also currently a Visiting Professor with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Johannesburg South Africa and also an Adjunct Professor in the College of Humanities, University of Kwa-Zulu Natal,
South Africa. He was, for nine years in the served as a Research Fellow with the University of the Free State, South Africa. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at the Chinhoyi University of Technology
(Zimbabwe). He is the Vice Chancellor of the Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) is a Full Professor in Urban and Regional Planning.

Tichaona Striker Machuwaire holds a BSc Hons Supply Chain Management (Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University). He is a Senior Pastor and Provincial Overseer in ZAOGA Forward In Faith Ministries xix International and entrepreneur with interests in Business Development and Drone Technology.

Melisa Z.L Ncube is holder an MSc Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management (University of Lusaka, Zambia), BSc International Purchasing Logistics and Transport) (Chinhoyi University of Technology). Lecturer at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University in the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Research interests: Green Supply Chain, last mile delivery, reverse logistics, circular economy and public procurement.
